Advanced Interviewing Concepts in Union County.

This week, we hosted a three-day advanced interviewing concepts class at the John H. Stamler Police Academy in Scotch Plains, NJ. This training was hosted as part of the Regional Intelligence Academy and provided attendees with an opportunity to critically assess their interviewing skills and learn new concepts based upon sound science.

We were pleased to partner with Susan Brandon, Ph.D. to design and deliver this content which is based upon the research generated through the High Value Detainee Interrogation Group (HIG), a national effort designed to ensure that interview methods are based upon scientifically validated research.

Between classroom learning, practical exercises, and scenario-based role playing with professional actors, each investigator took away a new understanding of their critical craft but don't take our word for it. These are some of the comments we received back immediately following the class.
